I recently switched things around in our living room and had a bare wall leftover. I looked and looked for some artwork, but couldn't find anything that I liked within our budget. So I decided to let the girls paint me some. We picked out some colors that matched the valances and they did the rest. All for under $10, too. I couldn't be happier, and the girls are so proud to have something of theirs hanging in the living room.

I would just like to say my husband rocks. Just when I think he couldn't possibly get any better - wham! he proves me wrong once again.
For the past 2 1/2 weeks he has uncomplainingly taken care of our household, the children, shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc., on top of working his job, while I have been down with an awful cold. Yep, he has done crafts with the girls, made cupcakes with them for his mom's birthday, taken them to birthday parties, the park, the library, on walks, played my little pony make-believe for the umpteenth time - just to give me time to rest so I could feel better.
Not only has he done all that, but after I've been up all night coughing and looking like complete heck in the morning, he tells me I'm beautiful. That my shirt is a gorgeous color on me. Hands down - best.husband.ever

where did the time go?
Gosh, it has been so long since my last post....where do I begin?
A few happenings over the past couple of months -
lola played a sheep in the Christmas play
they had fun at the zoo with a friend
lola had her first ballet recital
As usual, the holidays just flew by. Here we are already at Valentine's Day. It's been fun as the girls have been really into making these cute lollipop flowers for their friends.
Lola's big countdown to her 100th day of kindergarten is coming close - they've been counting since the 1st day of school, only 9 more days left. She's so excited, they are having a big party that day.
Speaking of parties, Bella cannot wait for her 4th birthday party...any time I talk about a party for whatever reason, she wants to know about hers. At first it seemed so far away, but now it's only 8 weeks from now - I guess I should get started planning on that one. Now if I could only get her to decide what she wants to do - one day it's princesses, another pirates, tea party, fairy, mermaid...
