happy new year!

Er, well happy almost February! I am at last blogging again. For those who know me well, it means I have finally caught up on all my other things. Yes, I have recently learned how so very unimportant blogging really is to me. Fun - yes, high priority for me - no.

I just want to say thank you, thank you to all who have been praying for Lola (and all of us) and her illness. After a 5-day stay at the hospital for bronchiolitis, I am extremely thankful that we are all home and are on the road to recovery. In fact, we are so well that Lola has been cleared to go back to school tomorrow. She has been so excited all day today knowing that she gets to see all her friends again!

By the way, you'll notice that I changed my layout. Yes, even though blogging is low priority for me, when I do actually get around to doing it, I like to look at something pretty. So, something new for the new year.

I have a notebook that I write down little things the girls do or say that are really endearing or just plain funny. I thought you might enjoy reading some things I wrote down from last year.

Lola -
*As we're driving by a convertible, "Hey, why do they have their lid off?"
*As she's looking at my craft supplies, "Mom, when you die and go to heaven, can I have all your stuff?"
*"Aarrgh, I'm Pirate Booty!"
*Singing in the car - "The farmer & the armadillo, the
farmer & the armadillo, hi-ho the dairy-o, the farmer & the armadillo"

Bella -
*"Peek-a-booby!"
*After doing something silly, I said 'you're goofy'. "No, I'm just Bella"
*After getting her toenails painted red, "Dad, my toenails walk with my feet!"
*After putting round smiley-face stickers all over her tummy, "Look, Mommy, pokanuts!"

Ah, from the mouths of babes. I hope this put a smile on your face today.
